Shipping Policy

Domade offers competitive shipping from a network of over 50 distributors and manufacturers across the continental United States.  The majority of our products are shipped via UPS unless they are considered Hazardous Materials (See below) or they are furniture products or are bulk orders requiring to go on a pallet.  To reduce freight costs you can view our Convenient Quantity Quotes for more information.  The following is our standard UPS and most Freight shipping costs by amount purchased:

After submitting your Domade order, you’ll get an email confirmation with details about your purchase.

Most basic industrial and office supplies will be delivered within 1-3 days as we have warehouses across the United States.  Larger orders of the same item may come directly from a manufacturer and may take a few more days.  If you need it faster please call customer solutions before ordering so we can check inventory and expected delivery time for you.  Remember, delivery times stated are "estimated delivery times" and are not guaranteed.  
Sorry but we’re unable to ship to post office boxes.  Please provide an address acceptable to UPS.

Please Remember:

  • Orders shipped and refused will be assessed an additional shipping charge for reshipment of the order.  Undamaged orders which are refused delivery will have shipping costs deducted from any refund.
  • Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, except major holidays.  Orders are shipping pending credit approval, product availability and order acceptance.

Cancellations

Most orders are processed very quickly.   Once placed, an order usually cannot be canceled or changed. We will do our best to work with you, however, once the checkout process is completed our warehouses are notified to complete your order.  Please check out our 
Return Policy on orders placed and shipped.  

Shipping Information for Industrial Products and Office Supplies (UPS)

The standard order cut off time is 2 pm Local Time EST. when you’re paying by credit card and your billing address matches your shipping address.

Shipping Information for Industrial Products that are determined to be Hazardous Materials

Hazardous Materials can not be shipped via UPS and will need to be shipped via freight.  All HM freight shipping will be charged including any HM charge.  We do everything we can to reduce these costs for our customers by utilizing several different carriers throughout the continental US.

Shipping Information for Texas Refinery products (Lubricants)

All shipping for these lubricant products are always freight free.  However, all orders below $375 will be assessed a minimum order fee of $25. 

Shipping Information for Office Furniture (Freight)

We won’t ship furniture freight deliveries until we’ve discussed with you regarding delivery arrangements.  Once an order is received our customer solutions team will contact you to discuss the delivery.  You can also reach our customer solutions team at (336) 497-4408.

Most office furniture products are shipping direct from the manufacturer.

  Freight Delivery Options

Dock to Dock (Standard Freight Service)

When a product is too large or heavy to be delivered by UPS it must be delivered by a freight trucking company.  “Dock to Dock” is basic delivery with the expectation that the delivery location will have a loading dock.  This kind of delivery does not include anything more than the truck backing up to a loading dock and opening the door, removal of the product is the responsibility of the customer.

Lift Gate Service ($$)

If the delivery location does not have a loading dock it will require a Lift Gate to lower the product off the back of the truck.  All freight companies charge for this service.   Lift Gate service is not “Inside Delivery”, it is simply the service lowering the product off the back of a truck down to street level.  No additional services are included or implied.

Inside Delivery Service ($$$)

Inside Delivery service with a freight company does not necessarily mean what the name implies.  While each company is a little different, Inside Delivery service brings the product into your business.  With some companies it means “inside the front door or the first available inside area”, with others it means delivery to a specific room.  If you select this service we will contact you for delivery details and get back to you with further details.  If you do not select and pay for Inside Delivery and it is requested at the time of delivery, additional charges will be your responsibility and will be charged to your credit card.

Additional Freight Delivery Information

Truck deliveries cannot be scheduled for specific times.  We will request that a trucking company contact you by telephone before attempting delivery.

Signatures are required for all truck deliveries.  We do not make exceptions to this requirement.  Please have someone available to accept deliveries during normal business hours.

Damages to Freight Delivery

1)      BEFORE signing for a freight shipment always note any visible damage on the bill of lading or delivery ticket.  You may also refuse a delivery if there is damage.  If you note damage or refuse delivery please contact us immediately so we can expedite a replacement for you.  This is important as the freight company will not notify us of refusals and no replacement will be sent.

2)      Any claims for damage or missing items must be made within 48 hours.  No exceptions are allowed due to freight company policies.

3)      DO NOT DISCARD packaging or shipping materials until you are completely satisfied with your purchase.  All items must be in their original packaging or they’re not returnable for replacement or credit.

Shipping Information for Direct from Manufacturer Orders

Most office furniture products are shipped direct from the manufacturer. 

Tracking numbers are not available online for products shipping through private freight carriers.
